What changed

User-visible changes, newest first. Internal work lives in version control; entries appear here with the deploy that ships them, so a quiet page means quiet product work, never hidden breakage.

Warmer design, roomier status page, changelog history

A calmer visual theme across the site, a wider system status page that reads across instead of scrolling down, a homepage hero that fits the screen, and a changelog that archives older entries instead of growing forever. The homepage check form is gone -- the Verify button takes you to the full form.

Delete records from history, security section on status, new demo briefs

History now offers per-record deletion (removing its public page too, where published). Security practices moved into the system status page beside the live state they describe. The Word taskpane stays usable across repeated checks, and two new worked briefs cover statute cites and offline degradation.

System status page, verification flow diagram, and changelog

New public pages: live system status (pipeline state, data snapshot freshness, and background-job heartbeat, with degradations shown as warnings rather than hidden), a step-by-step diagram of what happens when you verify a brief, and this changelog. Nothing about checking behavior changed.
